Making Changes

Hi Everyone! Trying to start up a blog is a hard task… so I’ll try to keep this simple so that I don’t get too overwhelmed.

My name is Jess and I am 23 years old and currently am back and forth from my parent’s home in Fairfield, CT and my soon-to-be own place in New York, NY. I have spent the last 2 years working as a research assistant/marine mammal observer on Marine Biology field projects, but am taking some time now to step back and figure out what it is that I want to do with my life! Currently I am working part-time as a Green Marketing Assistant at J. Ottman Consulting in New York while trying to map out my future plans.

Ok that’s all for now — Now I will leave you with lunch for today:

1 large romaine salad with tomatoes, mozzarella, feta, carrots, celery, avocado, pine nuts, almonds, and homemade dressing

A side plate of carrot sticks with ~tablespoon of hummus

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
