Another lunch at SBC

Day two of lunch at Southport Brewing Company — I had to take Charlie to show him how delicious the portobello burger is! Lunch began with two beers. I had the SBC light beer (can’t remember the official name). Charlie went for the delicious Sasco Hill Pale Ale that I tried yesterday.

For our appetizer we decided to split the vegetable steamed dumplings with some sort of asian side salad. So good. That disappeared pretty quickly.

Then it was onto the great portobello burger, which once again I forgot to photograph before I demolished….oops.

After our burgers we decided to have some coffee to wake ourselves up. I am personally a big fan of the mug/bowls that they were served in.

See you for dinner!

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
