Restless sleep

So I didn’t have the best night’s sleep last night…which was a bummer because it was my first night in my new bed in NY, but I had serious itching problems throughout the night and lately just haven’t been able to stay asleep for more than a few hours.

In any case, I was up at 8 ready to move my car for street cleaning. First thing’s first though– it was definitely time for some french pressed coffee.

Before we headed over to my car to figure out the parking situation, Charlie and I shared a banana with some dark chocolate dreams PB.

After successfully relocating my beautiful Honda Pilot, we came home to make some breakfast burritos. These ones had eggs, spinach, chopped onion, pepperjack cheese, and some of the leftover meatless crumbles from last night. We (obviously) topped them with hot sauce and salsa.

I’ll be posting lunch soon because I am working this afternoon/evening and will be bringing lunch with me to eat at my desk. See you tonight!

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
