Colorful Eating

Yesterday I headed to work with another beautiful and colorful salad!

It had all the usual fixings, with some cous cous and spicy dressing.

I also brought a snack of sliced yellow pepper and an apple to hold me over until lunch.

Last night Charlie and I went to try out Cilantro’s, a southwestern restaurant near my apartment. I got the mushroom, goat cheese, and green chile enchiladas.

We also polished off quite a large pitcher of red sangria!

Today was another sunny and beautiful day in the city… except today’s temperatures got up to 90 degrees and it was really muggy. Definitely a serious day of sweating.

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
