Breakfast a few days ago went a little differently….

My first experience with making french toast!

I have long been a french toast admirer and, like so many others, believed that there was some massive challenge associated with cooking up a delicious plate of eggy bread… boy, were we all wrong!

French toast is not only super easy to make, but can be constructed to be a totally healthy and filling breakfast! I just omitted the typical powdered sugar and maple syrup combinations and substituted in plenty of cinnamon, cardamom, and a dash of agave syrup.

Topped with sliced bananas and sprinkled with another dash of cinnamon. I think my only problem in the end was that I was too full to finish my last few tasty bites! I will definitely be making french toast again soon!
