Back Together

I’ve done it.

I’m back together with my vegetables, and it feels great.

Romaine lettuce mixed with baby lettuces, pepperocini, and grape tomatoes. Topped with Annie’s Sesame Shiitake dressing. X about 3 of these bowls. Sometimes simple foods really are the best foods.

A couple months ago Charlie and I decided to avoid eating anything fried for a while. I think it’s time to re-adopt that eating philosophy. It’s definitely true that I feel all-around better when my diet is cleaner and I have so much overall energy. Get ready, you’re about to see some seriously bright colors taking over my bowls and plates to make up for my month of regrettable ingestions. Until then!

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
