life in a tiny kitchen

you haven’t tested your cooking skills until you experiment with a kitchen built for a mouse.

this is what living in new york city really looks like.

the world’s tiniest oven. only miniature pans fit in here. (seriously) want to see inside? ok.

yep, that’s my coffee maker. perched on my stove-top.

now you ask, but what about your counter space? BEHOLD:

so where are my other appliances? why in the shelves of course. everyone who’s anyone keeps their toaster in the cupboard and balances it on the stove when in use.

jealous? yep.

this is why only the strong survive in new york…. that or only the stupid. i haven’t fully decided which one it is yet.

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
