hi friends. as i mentioned in the previous post, i was dorothy this year.

the costume was thrown together after i raided my parent’s house for childhood costumes and realized i could make this oldie fit again (with some adjustments). i wish i had a picture without the sweater and bag, but the gist was the dress, red converse ruby slippers, a tiny toto (pinned to the front of my dress), and long braids with blue bows at the ends.

halloween is fun. what were you????

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
