blogfriends, i’ve missed you. you’re such good listeners. and in the hustle and bustle of getting a new job to be excited about, i have been neglectful. here’s to hoping forgiveness is a christmas tradition. in case it’s not, here’s a picture of some delicious cookie dough:

in other news, in the process of catching up, there were some seriously delicious meals devoured in southampton when charlie and i went there for a relaxing and away-from-the-city weekend.

the highlight? i’d have to say the delicious tofu stir-fry we made with thai red pepper paste and crunchy uncooked ramen noodles and plenty and plenty of great veggies.

behold the weekend’s mix:

greek salad with LOTS of amazing olives

perfectly baked chocolate chunk cookies (with agave)

chunky left-over-veggies soup

and the delicious stir fry (which is as easy as it gets but SO GOOD)

*sidenote: is it a stirfry if you don’t technically use a wok?

’tis the season of being indoors and bundled up. so what are you waiting for? lock yourself in for a weekend and eat some spicy stir fry, soup, and lots of cookies!

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
