Morning Bowl

I like breakfast. Must have to be my favorite meal of the day. I also really enjoy the fact that every good nutritionist stands by the statement that breakfast is super important for the upkeep of a fast metabolism, thereby allowing me to really dive into my morning meals.

Although I admittedly go through breakfast phases, which is pretty clear from the line-ups of scrambles that often occur, I think my favorite would have to be the greek yogurt bowl with berries, banana, nuts, and granola. This breakfast always keeps me full in the right way — satisfied and stuffed, but never overwhelming. A great start to any day.

Today’s mix had banana, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and ezekial cereal tossed with some raw almonds.

Good morning.

“It’s an empowering idea. The entire goliath of the food industry is ultimately driven and determined by the choices we make as the waiter gets impatient for our order or in the practicalities and whimsies of what we load into our shopping carts or farmers’ market bags.” - Jonathan Safran Foer ..............................................................
